Common questions
Are these calculators accurate?
They are designed to produce useful estimates, not guaranteed quotes. Accuracy depends on the inputs you provide and the assumptions each calculator makes. Always verify important numbers with your lender, insurer, advisor, or another qualified professional before making decisions.
Why do my results change when I adjust one value?
Many calculators are sensitive to a few key levers. Small changes to APR, term length, taxes, or fees can compound through the math and produce larger shifts in totals. This is expected and can help you understand which inputs matter most.
What does “Email my calculations” do?
It sends a copy of your current inputs and results to the email address you provide so you can reference them later or share them with someone else. When available, the email may also include a printable breakdown or PDF-style summary.
I didn’t receive the email—what should I do?
- Check your spam, junk, or promotions folders.
- Double-check that the email address was entered correctly.
- Wait a minute and try again.
Delivery can vary by provider, and email delivery is not guaranteed. If it still does not arrive, contact us and we will help troubleshoot.
Can I share results with someone else?
Yes. You can forward the emailed results or, when available, use “Share my calculations.” Only share results with people who have permission to view the information included in the calculation.
Do you store my data?
Most calculators work without storing personal data. If you request an email, we process the details needed to deliver it. For more information, read our Privacy Policy.
What regions are these calculators for?
Unless a calculator says otherwise, it is generally focused on U.S. assumptions. Taxes, insurance rules, and fees can vary significantly by region, so you may need to adjust the defaults to match your local situation.
Can you add a calculator or feature request?
Absolutely. Email info@calestimator.com with what you want to build or improve, and we will use that feedback to prioritize updates.
